with Graeme Davis, President of the Australian Dahlia Society

*Two dates available*
Saturday, 14 December 2024 - OR - Sunday, 15 December 2024
9.30 am - 4.00 pm

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting dahlia guru, Graeme Davis, at our farm this December for an in-depth full-day workshop on successfully growing dahlias. Graeme is the President of the Australian Dahlia Society. His journey began as part of his family’s interest in the flower, and he has since become an authority in the field, mentoring others and sharing his wealth of knowledge with growers of all levels.

Graeme has an impressive history of exhibiting dahlias, beginning in the late 1980s, and has consistently competed with success against some of the toughest competition. Over the years, he has grown dahlias across a variety of soil types and climates, from heatwaves to storms, and has encountered just about every challenge along the way. He’s also had the privilege of being guided and mentored from some of the best in the business, which has shaped his expert approach to growing dahlias to a high standard.

Graeme's passion for dahlias drives him to share his extensive knowledge with others and to see as many as possible enjoying these beautiful flowers. We are so excited to be hosting him and to provide an opportunity for those eager to improve their dahlia-growing skills and learn directly from an expert.

This workshop will go into depth about growing dahlias successfully and is suited to those with some experience in growing dahlias.

There isn't just one "right" way to do everything; instead, there are key elements that need to be achieved. This workshop isn't about giving a one-size-fits-all answer, but rather about helping you identify those key elements and discover how you can achieve them based on your own circumstances and preferences.

It’s going to be a fun, jam-packed day full of valuable advice that will help you grow better dahlias—and the timing couldn’t be better with dahlia season just around the corner.
